The Brow Process
This page walks you through every stage of your brow appointment — from how to prepare to what happens after your touch-up.
Whether you choose Nano, Combo, or Powder Brows, the process stays the same: clear communication, precision, and comfort from start to finish.
The first session takes about 3 hours, and the touch-up appointment lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The first session is $500, and the touch-up (6–10 weeks later) is $150. A $100 non-refundable booking fee is required and goes toward your total. Results typically last 1–3 years after the touch-up, depending on skin and after-care.
Before your session, please review the pre-care guidelines in the Pre/Post Care section and read through the Policies page.
Following the pre-care instructions helps your skin stay calm and prepared for the service.
1
Before the Appointment
If you’d like to talk more before booking, an online consultation is available to answer questions and go over your goals.
We also offer in-person consultations for those who prefer to visit the studio before scheduling.
During either option, we’ll discuss your brows, expectations, and which service best fits your skin and desired look.
2
Consultation Options
We’ll take a few minutes to talk about your brows — your goals, preferences, and any reference photos you want to share.
We’ll also explain what to expect during the session and confirm the service that fits best for your skin and desired result.

At the Appointment: Brow Goals & Expectations
Once we’ve discussed your goals, we begin the mapping process to create your ideal shape. Using a black Sharpie pencil, I draw the lines that guide where I’ll tattoo.
For Nano Brows, these lines outline the direction of the hairstrokes.
For Combo Brows, I draw the hairstrokes and fill in the shaded areas.
For Powder Brows, I sketch the full shape to show where the shading will be.
If you’re unsure about how thick, long, or bold you want your brows, we can always start more conservative — it’s easy to add more at the touch-up, but we can’t take away once it’s done.
This step gives you a clear visual of the final shape before anything starts.
4
Mapping & Pre-Draw
We always start with one brow first so you can review it.
We’ll make any adjustments you’d like — whether that’s thickness, arch height, or length — until you’re happy with the shape.
5
Shape Review & Adjustments
Once you approve the first brow, we’ll repeat the same design on the other side.
We’ll compare both brows together and make small adjustments if needed to ensure they look even.
6
Duplicating the Approved Shape
Once the shape is finalized, we choose a pigment that matches your natural undertones and brow goals.
Every color is custom mixed to suit your skin tone, hair color, and overall look — whether you want something very natural or with more definition.
The color always heals softer than it appears on the day of your appointment, leaving a natural, realistic finish.
7
Color Selection
Once the shape is approved, we work directly within the same design we created during the pre-draw. This ensures the final result follows the exact shape and structure you already saw and approved.
The pigment is layered gradually for balance and precision, and numbing is applied throughout the session for comfort.
8
Tattooing Process
Right after the session, the brows appear darker and more defined — most clients actually love how they look at this stage.
It’s important to remember that the color softens by 30–60% as the brows heal, revealing a more natural shade over the following weeks.
9
Right After the Procedure
Before you leave, we’ll review the aftercare instructions with you and give you an aftercare kit that includes everything you need to safely wash and protect your brows.
During the first few days, mild redness or flaking is normal. As the skin heals, the color softens and settles evenly.
Everyone heals differently — some clients retain more pigment, while others heal lighter. This depends on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well aftercare is followed.
At your touch-up, we’ll make any adjustments needed to perfect the color and shape.
You can find full pre-care and aftercare details in the Pre/Post Care Section of our website.

Aftercare & Healing
The touch-up appointment takes place 6–10 weeks after your first session. By this time, your brows have fully healed and we can see how your skin retained the pigment.
During this visit, we’ll perfect every detail — going darker or thicker if you’d like, adjusting the color, or adding more density in certain areas. This step completes the process and ensures your brows look even, natural, and long-lasting.
